Full Details For WWE Backlash 2024

WWE heads to the LDLC Arena in Lyon, France on Saturday, May 4 for the first-ever pay-per-view from the country with Backlash. This is part of WWE's strategy to present none-Big Five pay-per-views outside of North America while WWE will keep WrestleMania, Money in the Bank, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, and the Royal Rumble in the United States and Canada for the foreseeable future. 

Unlike UFC 304, fans watching in Europe won't have to try and stay awake until the early hours of the morning as Backlash is scheduled to begin at 7 pm local time on Saturday night. The show will begin at 6 pm BST in the United Kingdom, while those on the East Coast of the United States can watch the show from 1 pm ET. On the West Coast of the US, Backlash will begin at 10 am PT.  

No surprises have been teased for Backlash but one talent who could show up is John Cena. The 47-year-old is currently in Nice, France filming 'Heads of State', the Amazon Studios movie with Cena, Idris Elba, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. 

Only five matches have been announced for Backlash 2024 so far but both of the company's world titles will be on the line. Based on the bookies' odds, only one title change is expected to take place on the show, with Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill the heavy favourites to defeat Asuka and Kairi Sane for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships.
