Heel Turn On AEW: Dynamite

A shocking turn of events...

Last night's episode of AEW: Dynamite featured multiple twists and turns as Jon Moxley attacked MJF after using the stage to enter the ringside area, Kenny Omega continued to tease a heel turn, and Orange Cassidy picked up the biggest win of his career as he vanquished Chris Jericho in their rematch.

Another shocking event also took place on the show as FTR turned heel for the first time in their AEW run. Since joining the young promotion in May, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have worked as babyfaces, teaming with The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega and "Hangman" Adam Page against the likes of The Lucha Brothers, The Dark Order, and The Butcher and The Blade.

The tag team couldn't pacify their darker sides any longer, however, as they attacked The Rock "N" Roll Express following a segment which also included The Young Bucks, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard and Shawn Spears.

During the exchange to celebrate Tag Team Appreciation Night, Ricky Morton declared The Young Bucks are the best tag team in the world. Arn Anderson disagreed with this statement, however, as he proclaimed FTR as the best tag team. This only angered Tully who said neither team can say they are the best because they don't have a championship. Blanchard then turned his attention to Arn and a brief scuffle broke out after Shawn Spears made his way to the ring.

As the action spilled out of control, Harwood collapsed to the floor holding his knee. Wheeler quickly came to his aid and everyone except Robert Gibson and Ricky Morton fought their way onto the stage. At the most opportune moment, Dax revealed he was playing possum as he suddenly sprang into action and attacked The Rock "N" Roll Express from behind. He then picked Morton up and FTR delivered a hellacious Spike Piledriver to the WWE Hall Of Famer.

With that, FTR's seemingly inevitable confrontation with The Young Bucks and the AEW World Tag Team Champions draws ever closer.
