Heel Turn Planned For WWE Tag Team

WWE Tag team turning heel

A WWE tag team are set to turn heel.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the belief within WWE is that the Creed Brothers will be turning heel and forming a stable with Chad Gable. Such a turn was hinted at during Monday Night Raw as a clip from the April 15 episode showed Gable and the Creeds training in the ring together before Raw went on the air.

Chad Gable was heavily featured on Raw and turned heel following his failed attempt to defeat Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship, German suplexing Sami out of his wife's arms to cement the turn. The Alpha Academy member has been involved in the Intercontinental Title picture for several months.

Whether the Creed Brothers will simply be added to Alpha Academy is unknown. The futures of Otis, Maxxine Dupri, and Akira Tozawa are also unclear. One option available for WWE would be to replicate Team Angle and have Gable and the Creeds form a Team Gable stable.

The Creed Brothers, following success in NXT, moved to the main roster in 2023. WWE view Julius Creed as a future main event level talent
