IMPACT Over Drive Results

IMPACT Wrestling held their latest IMPACT Plus special on Friday, November 18 as the promotion presented Over Drive from Louisville, Kentucky. 

Despite a wealth of title matches on the show, only one new champion was crowned as Trey Miguel defeated Black Taurus in the X-Division Title Tournament final to win the gold for a second time. Miguel picked up the win after using spray paint against Taurus before he followed up with Lightning Spiral for the 1-2-3. 

Josh Alexander defended his IMPACT World Championship against Frankie Kazarian in the main event and he would ultimately retain the title against the AEW star. Alexander wouldn't end the night standing tall, though, as Bully Ray called his shot following the match, announcing that he would challenge The Walking Weapon for the IMPACT World Title at Hard To Kill on January 13. Ray then suddenly attacked Alexander with a steel chair and he held the IMPACT World Championship aloft to end the show after he threatened to Powerbomb Alexander's wife on the floor. 

Mickie James' Last Rodeo continued at Over Drive too as she defeated Taylor Wilde. Her next opponent then seemingly revealed themselves as Deonna Purrazzo made her way to the ring and announced she was looking to end James' career and their long-running rivalry.
