Joe Hendry Teases WWE NXT Heatwave Appearance

Could Joe Hendry make an appearance at WWE NXT Heatwave? 

The United Kingdom is currently experiencing a heatwave and Joe Hendry used the temperature in Swansea, Wales to push out a little tease as he tweeted: "Swansea is beautiful today. It's an absolute Heatwave!"

Heatwave is the next major event from WWE NXT and will emanate from Toronto, Ontario, Canada on Sunday, July 7. Hendry made his WWE debut on last week's edition of NXT as he competed in the battle royal for a shot at the NXT Championship at Heatwave. The TNA talent did cut a promo but he was quickly eliminated from the battle royal by his TNA rival Frankie Kazarian. 

WWE NXT officials were reportedly "very happy" with Hendry's debut and the expectation is the former TNA Digital Media Champion will make further appearances in NXT moving forward. Hendry teased he wasn't finished with NXT last week, telling Shawn Michaels he would ‘appear anywhere at any time on any show’.

Hendry was in action for Burning Heart Pro Wrestling over the weekend, the new promotion run by Grizzled Young Veterans, Rickey Shane Page, and George Iceman, among others. The company held shows in Liverpool, Wolverhampton, and Swansea with Hendry in action on all three nights.
