More WWE NXT appearances expected for Joe Hendry
After making a surprise appearance to a massive pop on the June 18 edition of WWE NXT, it seems that TNA’s Joe Hendry could be in line to make more appearances for the brand.
Hendry was the talk of the wrestling world after his appearance on NXT, and a report from Fightful Select claims that NXT officials were ‘very happy’ with the reaction Hendry received. Furthermore, sources within TNA are also believed to have been pleased with Hendry’s appearance, and the continuation of the feud between himself and Kazarian in a WWE ring.
Whilst some wished Hendry got more time on NXT, the report suggests that more NXT appearances for Hendry are being considered, with clips of his appearance performing very well on WWE’s social media channels.
Hendry and WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels filmed a segment where a furious Hendry informed HBK that he would ‘appear anywhere at any time on any show’, and it remains to be seen if and when anyone will say his name on NXT TV.
Outside of TNA and WWE NXT, Hendry is set to take on Elijah (fka Elias) at NORTH Wrestling Thunderstruck 2 on July 13.
