John Cena Wants To Wrestle In The UK During Retirement Tour

John Cena wants one more match in the UK

John Cena’s in-ring career is soon to be over, with him announcing at the 2024 Money In The Bank premium live event that he would be stepping away after a retirement tour in 2025, where he is looking to complete around 50 dates before bowing out in December.

There aren’t too many things that Cena has stated that he wants to tick off before hanging up the boots, but he does want to compete in the UK one more time. Speaking with TalkSport, Cena stated that he hopes WWE has a UK tour amidst his retirement run.

"I really hope so. As you know, I'm retiring from in-ring performing next year and we'll start in January and we'll do our last match in December 2025. I really hope there are some UK dates involved in that farewell. I meant what I said, and I said the same thing in Canada, the UK and Canada have been such strong supporters of the WWE, through thick and thin.”

Cena stated recently that whilst he won't be able to compete at a UK-based WrestleMania after recent talks between London Mayor Sadiq Khan and WWE, he will still be in attendance as a fan.
