John Cena Responds To Talks About WrestleMania In London, Says He Will Be There

John Cena says he will be at a WrestleMania in London as a fan

At the 2023 Money In The Bank premium live event in London, England, John Cena made a surprise appearance in front of the raucous UK crowd to pitch WrestleMania to come to London. The frenzied audience were soon silenced by the news that there was nothing concrete in plans for a WrestleMania in the UK. However, Cena getting the ball rolling led to Triple H & Nick Khan recently meeting with London Mayor Sadiq Khan to discuss the prospect of WrestleMania in the city.

John Cena has responded to these talks, showing his delight in a post on X, declaring that when or if it happens, he will be present at WrestleMania in London, though not in the ring.

“The city of London, and all of the UK has supported WWE thru thick and thin. I try to minimize using the word ‘deserve’ so I will use more appropriate terms. I’ve said it before and stand by it. In my mind London has EARNED a chance to host WrestleMania. I won’t get to compete when it happens but I will BE THERE as a fan for sure!”

Cena announced at the 2024 Money In The Bank that he would be retiring from in-ring competition, embarking on a retirement tour in 2025. Ahead of time, it was announced that he would be competing at the first RAW on Netflix, Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania in 2025.
