Jon Moxley G1 Promo/Aftermath The Most Watched Video On NJPW's English YouTube Channel

Mox moving numbers...

After battering poor Shota Umino in a matter of minutes at NJPW Dominion in Osaka on Sunday, United States champion Jon Moxley made it clear that he wants into the 2019 G1 Climax. He further reiterated his demand with a rather humorous vignette on NJPW's YouTube channel, in which he ushers a weary Umino around backstage, treating him as a protege while acting indifferent to Umino's pained predicament.

Within ten hours of the upload, the video had become the most watched selection on the entire NJPW English YouTube channel. As of this writing, 19 hours after its upload, Moxley's demand and subsequent vignette sits at 1.82 million views.

In just a short amount of time, Moxley has made quite an impact on New Japan Pro Wrestling. He defeated Juice Robinson in his first match with the promotion last Wednesday, capturing the United States title. Not only has he since declared for the G1 Climax, but he's also been challenged by Minoru Suzuki, who wants to wrestle both Moxley and Chris Jericho.

Moxley's deal with All Elite Wrestling is such that the promotion has first dibs on his appearances, particularly when the show on TNT begins this fall. However, they will allow Moxley to wrestle international dates when lulls in the AEW schedule permit them.
