Jordynne Grace Reveals Scrapped Plans For W. Morrissey Tag Team

Jordynne Grace had big plans

Jordynne Grace's tag team with W. Morrissey was ultimately short-lived but this didn't stop the former Knockouts World Champion from having big plans for their alliance.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Grace revealed she wanted to win the IMPACT World Tag Team Titles with Morrissey and she would have adapted her gear to his style and wore a denim singlet and Timberland boots.

"I literally was so excited about teaming with Morrissey. I actually - the idea for our finisher was my idea and I loved it, I thought it was going to be an amazing finisher for us. I truly think that we could have won the tag titles, to be completely honest with you. We had the finisher, I was going to get a jeans singlet made. I was going to start training in Timberlands so I could wear them in the ring. I was ready for this. I was so disappointed when he left," Grace said.

Tommy Dreamer also revealed a pitched name for the tag team was 'William & Grace' and t-shirt designs had been thought about.

Grace and Morrissey only teamed together twice, first at April's Rebellion pay-per-view when they unsuccessfully challenged for the IMPACT World Tag Team Titles in an Elimination Challenge. They then teamed with Shark Boy against Johnny Swinger, Zicky Dice, and Shogun for a digital media exclusive match in May.

It emerged earlier this month that Morrissey was finished with IMPACT Wrestling, with his final TV appearance coming on June 2.
