Karen Jarrett Debuts On AEW Dynamite

A surprise debut took place on the May 17 edition of AEW Dynamite as Karen Jarrett made her first appearance in an All Elite Wrestling ring. 

Karen's husband Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal have been in a programme with FTR in recent weeks and the two teams will meet at Double or Nothing on May 28 in an AEW World Tag Team Title match. Their programme continued on this week's Dynamite, during which FTR attacked Jarrett, Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, and Satnam Singh.

FTR ended up cornering JJ inside the squared circle but this is Jeff Jarrett's world and we're all just living in it so, of course, the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion had a backup plan. Just as Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler were about to deck Jeff, his wife Karen Jarrett appeared behind them and she levelled Cash Wheeler with a Low Blow. Jeff then took out Dax Harwood with the Stroke and the heels ended up standing tall after JJ and Jay Lethal decked FTR with guitar shots to the head.

Karen has been a part of pro wrestling for many years, first appearing in TNA back in 2007 as her ex-husband Kurt Angle's manager. She left the promotion in 2008 but returned in 2011 as Jeff Jarrett's manager, with Karen and Jeff having become romantically involved in 2009. Karen has since often accompanied Jarrett to the ring for his matches in various promotions over the past 12 years.
