Karrion Kross Comments On WWE Main Roster Debut

Kross is just happy to be on Raw

Karrion Kross' life on the main roster got off to a difficult start on July 19 as he was defeated by Jeff Hardy after 90 seconds when The Charismatic Enigma used the ropes. The NXT Champion picked up his first win on Monday Night Raw earlier this week, though, when he defeated Keith Lee by submission.

Kross' booking on the main roster so far has led to criticism from fans, but The Herald Of Doomsday himself admitted on Instagram that "this month has been pretty awesome" regardless of his booking.

"Scarlett asked me in private many months ago what would be my ideal scenario for going up to main roster. I told her in a perfect world, I'd love to work both shows; @wwenxt& @wwe #WWERAW and possibly even #WWESmackdown. I wanted as much as what was available to do. Birthday rolls around months later, And on that very day of July 19th, I got what I wanted. Never discussed it with anyone, never talked about it. I just put it out there in the universe and did my best to privately work towards it," Kross wrote.

"Getting in front of a packed arena, full house and having the opportunity to do what I love in front of the #WWEUniverse; to hear, see and feel them after over a year of being here without a full attendance and chasing this for so long before I arrived... This month has been pretty awesome. Looking forward to the future... And more. #TickTock"

While Kross did defeat Keith Lee on Monday's Raw, the NXT Champion was originally scheduled to lose again to Jeff Hardy but the match was scrapped following Hardy's positive COVID-19 test. Plans would have seen Kross continue to lose to Hardy before Scarlett's main roster debut to help her partner get back to winning ways.
