Plans For Scarlett To Join Karrion Kross On WWE Raw Reportedly Revealed

Kross has been without Scarlett on the main roster so far

WWE fans have made vocal their concern over the booking of NXT Champion, and the previous unbeaten, Karrion Kross since he made his debut on WWE Raw.

Kross was pinned by Jeff Hardy in under three minutes on his official main roster debut two weeks ago and was reportedly supposed to lose to the Charismatic Enigma again this past Monday, although a positive COVID-19 test for Hardy meant he was unable to be at the show.

Instead, Kross defeated Keith Lee, but Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast has now reported that there was a longer-term reason behind plans for Kross to lose to Hardy again.

Zarian says that the idea was for Kross to keep being beaten by Hardy, which would then lead to Scarlett being introduced and helping the NXT Champion get back to winning ways on the red brand.

Zarian said: "Karrion Kross was supposed to lose again to Jeff Hardy in the rematch and then finally go berserk. I’m not 100% on this but I was told that the plan was that Karrion Kross keeps losing until Scarlett shows up and that’s gonna bring him back on track because she is able to unleash the warrior, whatever they’re calling him, the gladiator in him.

"When I spoke to somebody over there they were like, ‘Yeah I don’t understand why people are freaking out on the internet, it’s leading to something. Why don’t people understand, we’re telling a story, the match doesn’t matter, the story matters’."

Scarlett joined WWE at the same time as Kross and has been linked with him throughout their time together in NXT. She has been conspicuous by her absence from his company on the main roster.
