Kurt Angle Doesn't Rule Out Having One More Match

Could Kurt Angle have one more match?

While Kurt Angle has previously refused efforts to come out of retirement, the WWE Hall of Famer hasn't ruled out having one more match since undergoing double knee replacement surgery.

Speaking with the Wrassingh Show, Angle noted he doesn't have the itch to get back in the ring but that might change in the future.

"In pro wrestling, anything's possible. Maybe down the road, I might have the itch to do it again. I don't have it now, and I don't want it now, but you never know. You wait a couple years after your knee replacement surgery and you see how you feel. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, that's okay," Angle said.

If he were to have another match, The Wrestling Machine wants it to be at least four out of five stars. With that in mind, he named John Cena, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins as possible opponents for one more match.

"Ric Flair did not pick an older guy to wrestle. He picked Jay Lethal. There's a reason for that. Jay Lethal is going to make him look good because he's younger, and he's in his prime. That's what I would want if I came back and wrestled. I'd want a Roman Reigns, or a Seth Rollins, or even a John Cena. Those are the names that I would pick because I know those guys would carry me through a match," he added.

Angle retired at 2019's WrestleMania 35 with a loss to Baron Corbin. The WWE Hall of Famer has admitted he wanted his final match to be against John Cena but Vince McMahon wanted that match to happen at WrestleMania 36. Angle did not feel he could wrestle for another year.
