Major Change To Judgment Day Possibly In The Works

Multi-promotion faction to be launched by WWE?

Many wrestling promotions throughout history have come together to not only share talent or co-promote shows, but to also establish cross-promotional factions, with wrestlers from different companies repping one shirt and one cause.

In the past the likes of the NWO, Bullet Club, and Los Ingobernables have had members scattered across different promotions, and it appears as though WWE could be following suit, with Dave Meltzer noting in his WWE Bash in Berlin write-up in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter how the Judgment Day duo of Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan were sporting gear that featured a AAA logo.

According to Meltzer, Morgan and Mysterio’s gear featured an ‘eye’ symbol that is being used by AAA’s top heel faction of Alberto el Patron, Konnan, and Dorian Roldan amongst others, whilst Konnan himself recently wore a Judgment Day t-shirt at TripleMania.

It seems that this is more than a friendly showing of respect between the two, with Meltzer suggesting that the two factions are to be portrayed as working together in some loose form, and the use of both sides’ gear was meant to be a subtle nod at this.

Whether this becomes a full-blown stable, or will see WWE working closely with AAA remains to be seen. However, this is a new era for the company, as evidenced by their working relationship with TNA Wrestling.
