Miro 'Behind Schedule' For AEW Return

Miro 'behind schedule' in returning to AEW TV

Miro may not be back on All Elite Wrestling TV in the near future.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, AEW were hoping to have Miro back on TV a couple of months ago but his return was behind schedule.

SRS said, for the avoidance of doubt: "They were hoping that he would be back a couple of months ago and it was behind schedule."

Miro has not appeared on AEW TV since December's Worlds End pay-per-view where he defeated Andrade el Idolo. The finish of the match saw CJ Perry turn on Andrade and help Miro win the contest with the Game Over. Miro has since noted that he has been dealing with an injury since September 2023 and he received medical attention in January.

Original AEW plans called for Miro to be involved in Meat Madness at Revolution but All Elite Wrestling changed the pay-per-view match as multiple talents were unavailable to wrestle on the show.

It was revealed earlier this year that Miro and CJ Perry have separated after seven years of marriage. Miro has since moved back to Bulgaria after previously living in the United States.
