MJF Files Trademark For 'Reign Of Terror'

MJF seemingly wants to begin his own reign of terror

MJF is seemingly looking to channel his inner-Triple H during his reign as AEW World Champion.

Friedman mentioned the "reign of terror" during a promo on last week's episode of AEW Dynamite and The Salt of the Earth filed to trademark the term for wrestling and merchandise purposes on December 1. The term can be used for hats, shirts, bandanas, t-shirts, hoodies, and sweatshirts.

Triple H infamously had a reign of terror as WWE World Heavyweight Champion during his time as the top star of Monday Night Raw from 2002 until he dropped the gold to Batista at WrestleMania 21 in 2005. The Game's time at the top has been criticised, with many believing he remained World Heavyweight Champion for far too long.

While an outside option, MJF could have trademarked the term to produce a range of French Revolution merchandise centred around Maximilien Robespierre's reign of terror.

MJF has been AEW World Champion since he defeated Jon Moxley for the title at Full Gear on November 19. MJF won the belt with the assistance of William Regal. The Salt of the Earth took out Regal on Dynamite, though, and his actions will reportedly lead to a major feud for MJF. Find out more here.
