New WWE Raw Women's Champion Crowned

Another controversial finish...

Confusion reigned supreme during the finish to the Raw Women's Championship match at The Horror Show at Extreme Rules after Bayley attacked Asuka from behind, stole the referee's shirt, and counted the 1-2-3 for her best friend Sasha Banks. The commentators were bewildered as to who the champion was and the matter wasn't cleared up until the next night on Raw when Stephanie McMahon announced The Empress Of Tomorrow was still the champion despite Banks holding the belt.

The two Superstars went one one one on last night's episode of Raw to determine once and for all who the champion was. Before the match took place, however, it was announced that Banks could win the title by count-out and disqualification. This ultimately played into the result as Asuka had the match won, but Bayley's backstage attack on Kairi Sane was suddenly broadcast on the titantron. The Raw Women's Champion tried to fight on but it became too much after Kairi screamed for her best friend, causing Asuka to abandon the match and charge to the back to save The Pirate Princess.

With Banks unconscious in the centre of the ring, the official counted to 10 and The Blueprint was crowned the new Raw Women's Champion. This seemingly won't be the end of the rivalry, however, as The Empress Of Tomorrow will be on the hunt for revenge against The Golden Role Models.
