NJPW G1 Climax 34 Qualifiers Revealed

Much of the lineup for NJPW G1 Climax 34 has already been revealed but one spot in each block is still up for grabs as various New Japan wrestlers will compete in a qualifier tournament as part of the New Japan Soul tour. 

The qualifiers are set to begin on June 22 in Fukushima and continue until the finals on July 5 in Tokyo. The mini tournament will be a 12-man competition with six wrestlers competing for the remaining spot in each block. 

The matches are as follows: 

A Block:

• Chase Owens vs. YOSHI-HASHI - June 22
• Callum Newman vs. Yujiro Takahashi - June 22
• Tomohiro Ishii vs. Winner of Chase Owens vs. YOSHI-HASHI - July 3
• KENTA vs. Winner of Callum Newman vs. Yujiro Takahashi - July 3
• A Block qualifier final - July 5

B Block:

• Toru Yano vs. Boltin Oleg - June 23
• Satoshi Kojima vs. TJP - June 23
• Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Winner of Toru Yano vs. Boltin Oleg - July 3
• Taichi vs. Winner of Satoshi Kojima vs. TJP - July 3
• B Block qualifier final - July 5

G1 Climax 34 will, once again, be a two block tournament comprised of 20 wrestlers. Talents already confirmed for the tournament include Tetsuya Naito, SANADA, David Finlay, EVIL, Pro Wrestling NOAH's Jake Lee, and AEW's Konosuke Takeshita. 

G1 Climax 34 will begin on July 20 and come to an end with the finals on August 18.
