NJPW Power Struggle Set For November 6

New Japan Pro-Wrestling's post-G1 Climax 31 plans are starting to take shape. 

The Tournament Of Tournaments is set to run from September 18 until October 21 and NJPW will resume shows with their 'Road to Power Struggle' tour on October 24, the promotion announced over the weekend. 

The tour will open up with three shows at Korakuen Hall from October 24 until October 26. NJPW will then go on the road with shows across Japan before Power Struggle at Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium on Saturday, November 6. 

Since the first Power Struggle event in 2011, New Japan has always held the show in Osaka. 

Last year's Power Struggle featured several big matches on the last major stop before Wrestle Kingdom 15. KENTA vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi and Shingo Takagi vs. Minoru Suzuki were both on the undercard and the show was main evented by an IWGP Double Championship match between champion Tetsuya Naito and EVIL. 

The show also featured a big surprise as Jay White defeated Kota Ibushi for the G1 briefcase, becoming the first person to win the Tokyo Dome Challenge Rights Certificate in the process.
