NJPW Talent Revealed As Next Challenger For IMPACT World Title

Which NJPW talent is challenging Josh Alexander for the IMPACT World Title?

The next challenger for the IMPACT World Championship has been revealed.

Josh Alexander regained the championship at Sunday's Rebellion pay-per-view, defeating Moose, and the two men faced off in a rematch on Thursday's edition of IMPACT Wrestling.

It was revealed ahead of that rematch that a surprise challenger would face the winner at Under Siege and after The Walking Weapon retained the gold, New Japan Pro-Wrestling's Tomohiro Ishii headed to the ring and butted heads with Alexander.

Three other title matches were also announced for Under Siege.

The returning Briscoes will challenge Violent By Design for the IMPACT World Tag Team Championships, Tasha Steelz will defend the IMPACT Knockouts World Title against Havok, and Taya Valkyrie will put the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship on the line against Deonna Purrazzo in a rematch from Rebellion.

Two factions will also collide at Under Siege as Bullet Club's Jay White, Chris Bey, El Phantasmo, and The Good Brothers will take on Honor No More's Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Vincent, Kenny King, and Eddie Edwards.

Under Siege will air on IMPACT Plus on May 7 from Newport, Kentucky.
