NWA Announces New Weekly Series Shockwave

In the old Powerrr time slot...

National Wrestling Alliance recently announced they will be producing a new weekly series Shockwave. The new show will premiere on December 1 at 6 pm ET and will be broadcast every Tuesday on YouTube. It will feature "matches that have never been seen anywhere before" and fans can watch the show a day early if they become a patron.

NWA's previous weekly series Powerrr aired in the same time slot before the show went on hiatus because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The series will be produced in collaboration with the United Wrestling Network and Thunder Studios. NWA has been working with the UWN for the past couple of months and talent like Nick Aldis, Thunder Rosa, Kamille, Eli Drake and Aron Stevens have all appeared on UWN Primetime Live.

The NWA's landscape has changed dramatically since the last episode of Powerrr. With the exception of the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship, all of the promotion's titles have changes hands on UWN Primetime Live. AEW's Serena Deeb is the reigning NWA World Women's Champion, having defeated Thunder Rosa. The Pope captured the NWA World Television Title, Trevor Murdoch is the current NWA National Champion and Aron Stevens & JR Kratos currently hold the NWA World Tag Team Championship.
