NXT Performer Rachael Evers Confirms Torn ACL

No timetable on return...

NXT performer Rachael Evers sustained a knee injury last Saturday night, and confirmed today that the injury is in fact a torn ACL.

Evers was wrestling Lacey Lane at an NXT live event in Fort Pierce, FL on July 27, when she suffered the injury. The match was then halted, and ruled a no contest.

Surgery for her injury is scheduled for this Tuesday.

Evers' message on social media posted Friday read, in part, "On Saturday night, my heart broke a little bit. At our NXT show in Florida, I tore my ACL. Those three letters have caused me to feel so much pain, disappointment and fear.

"I have surgery on Tuesday and Wednesday I begin my journey back to my home -- the ring. As a wise woman once said, "I am a goddess, a glorious female warrior." So now its time to prove it."

Evers, the daughter of legendary manager Paul Ellering, took part in the 2017 and 2018 Mae Young Classics. She officially signed with WWE in January 2019, and has worked NXT live events since March.
