OVW Fight Night Sells Over 1,600 Tickets

Over 1,600 tickets sold for OVW Fight Night

Ohio Valley Wrestling presented one of their biggest-ever shows on Saturday, August 31 as OVW Fight Night emanated from the Appalachian Wireless Arena in Pikeville, Kentucky.

WrestleTix noted ahead of the show that 1,609 tickets had been distributed for OVW Fight Night, with the building set up to hold 2,062 fans. The Appalachian Wireless Arena can hold up to 7,000 people depending on the event but over 1,600 tickets being sold still made OVW Fight Night one of the biggest independent wrestling events in the United States this year.

OVW Fight Night featured multiple surprises, including an appearance from JBL, who attacked Orion and Dustin Jackson before he later reunited with Doug Basham. JBL has appeared in AAA, GCW, and TNA in recent weeks.

The Boogeyman also made an appearance in OVW, taking out Al Snow before he threw worms into the crowd.

The main event of OVW Fight Night was a 10-Man Lethal Lockdown Match as The Revolution of Doug Basham, Tony Gunn, Dalton McKenzie, AJZ and Crixus defeated Team OVW of Cash Flo, Kal Herro, Donovan Cecil, Jack Vaughn and TW3.
