Pat McAfee Confirms Why AJ Styles Was Bleeding At WWE WrestleMania 38

AJ Styles was busted open hardway at WWE WrestleMania 38

WrestleMania 38 night two featured the long awaited singles match between AJ Styles and Edge. But before the bell rung Styles had blood on the side of his face.

Some speculated Styles was caught by his pyro, whilst other fans pointed at what looked like Styles banging his head on part of the stage, with WWE’s Pat McAfee confirming the latter to be true on his YouTube show.

McAfee stated that when it was time for his singles bout with Austin Theory, WWE staff told him to walk straight down the middle area of the entrance, as Styles had banged his face on the overhanging ‘star’ design earlier in the night.

Styles for his part played off the incident without any drama, with the veteran grappler taking the knock in his stride.

Edge defeated Styles with a Spear whilst Styles was mid-Phenomenal Forearm after 24 minutes in the longest match of the weekend, and the first time the two had ever faced off in competition outside of Royal Rumble matches.
