Peacock Increasing Subscription Prices Later This Year

Peacock prices going up

WWE fans in the United States may have to pay more to watch the company's major events.

Comcast has announced that Peacock will be raising its subscription prices by $2 per month from August 17. For monthly subscribers, the price will be rising to $8 for Peacock Premium and $14 for Peacock Premium Plus. Annual subscribers will have to pay $80 per year for Peacock Premium and $140 for Peacock Premium Plus. The streaming service also added three million new subscribers in Q1 2024.

WWE pay-per-views/premium live events have aired on Peacock in the United States since early 2021 after the WWE Network was absorbed into Peacock. Peacock was launched in April 2020 and the service had lost a cumulative $6.8 billion as of late 2023.

Although it is already no longer in place in the United States, the WWE Network will be a thing of the past around the world from the end of 2024. Netflix is set to become the home of WWE pay-per-view and the company's library from 2025 internationally, including in the United Kingdom.

WWE's next major show on Peacock will be Backlash on Saturday, May 4 from Lyon, France.
