The period between 2000 and 2004 was a time of great change for WWE as the company officially exited the Attitude Era in favour of Ruthless Aggression. WWE itself even underwent a name change, getting the E out of WWF and transitioning to World Wrestling Entertainment following legal issues with the World Wildlife Fund. 

Some titles were retired, while WCW belts were briefly added to the mix in 2001 as part of the Invasion angle that saw WCW and ECW, under the ownership of Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon, invade Vince McMahon's WWE.
