Raquel Gonzalez Competes In Dark Match Ahead OF WWE SmackDown
She faced Toni Storm ahead of the main show
Raquel Gonzalez was one of three NXT superstars to compete in dark matches ahead of the Friday 29 October episode of WWE SmackDown.
According to F4WOnline, Gonzalez faced off against Toni Storm, with the former NXT Women's Champion defeating the relatively recent main-roster call-up ahead of the SmackDown show.
Gonzalez, who made her WWE debut in January 2017, was defeated by Mandy Rose in a Trick Or Street Fight at NXT Halloween Havoc last week, losing the NXT Women's Title. Gonzalez was attacked by former teammate Dakota Kai, indicating the feud between the duo is set to continue.
Gonzalez wasn't the only NXT superstar to compete ahead of this past week's Friday Night SmackDown. The Creed Brothers of the Diamond Mind were also in action, losing to the Viking Raiders.
Brutus Creed and Julius Creed only made their in-ring debuts on the September 7 episode of NXT television, a show taped in August. Julius signed with WWE in October 2020, while Brutus signed in February 2021.
