'Speedball' Mike Bailey Signs IMPACT Wrestling Deal

Bailey worked with Josh Alexander on Sunday night

'Speedball' Mike Bailey has a new home, signing a deal with IMPACT Wrestling.

The 31-year-old was offered a contract to join the promotion by IMPACT Executive Scott D'Amore following his match with Josh Alexander at Sunday's Destiny Wrestling show in Canada, per Fightful.

Bailey would sign the contract immediately, penning his signature on the deal on Alexander's back.

Bailey's ability to work in the United States has been severely hindered ove the past five years after being banned from entering the country in March 2016. 'Speedball' was stopped from trying to enter the States to work a show for EVOLVE in March 2016.

Bailey has been active in the years since, however, working international shows for Ring Of Honor as well as competing in wXw, OTT, Progress and others.

It was noted by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer in May that WWE and Bailey were 'working on deal' but the promotion wanted to get his visa issues resolved before putting pen to paper on any form of contract.
