Raquel Gonzalez Recalls First Meeting In WWE With Vince McMahon
McMahon visited the WWE Performance Center a couple of weeks ago
Raquel Gonzalez has admitted she hasn't had too many meetings with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, but has recalled the first time the two interacted.
Gonzalez has impressed in WWE NXT and as the reigning NXT Women's Champion, since winning the Title from Io Shirai at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver in April.
Gonzalez confirmed that McMahon had appeared at the WWE Performance Center a couple of weeks ago, when the WWE Chairman was rumoured to be on a scouting trip, and revealed the comment the WWE Chairman made the first time they met, backstage at Raw.
Speaking to Fightful, Gonzalez said: "He popped up a couple of weeks ago. I haven't had much interaction with him.
"The first encounter, I was backstage at Raw with Rhea Ripley. Wee were standing there together and he was like, 'Well, uber Amazon.' That was a good little reaction for me, but I haven't had an opportunity to interact with him too much, but I'm looking forward to it. I hear he's quite the character."
