Report: AEW Revolution 2021 Moving To March 7

AEW's first Sunday pay-per-view

In an update on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported All Elite Wrestling's next pay-per-view, Revolution, will now take place on March 7. This will be the company's first-ever Sunday pay-per-view. Past major shows have always aired on a Saturday.

Meltzer previously reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the show would no longer take place on February 27.

AEW reportedly decided to move Revolution because the promotion didn't want to go head-to-head with the Canelo Alvarez vs. Avni Yildrim boxing pay-per-view. March 6 was talked about as another possible date but AEW wanted to avoid airing at the same time as UFC 259.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider later noted that AEW will officially announce the new date at some point this week.

Check out the card for Revolution below:
• Sting & Darby Allin vs. Brian Cage & Ricky Starks - Street Fight
• The Young Bucks (c) vs. TBD by a Battle Royal at Beach Break - AEW World Tag Team Championship
