Report: Backstage News On Keith Lee Leaving An AEW TV Taping Before His Scheduled Match

Some rumours have been dispelled...

Contrary to rumour, Keith Lee did not 'walk out' on AEW.

A new report from Fightful Select has cleared up speculation surrounding the former AEW World Tag Team Champion, confirming the story as untrue. According to the report, a miscommunication between the two sides led to Lee leaving the building prematurely. Lee was at last week's Dynamite and Rampage tapings and, after being told he wasn't being used for Dynamite, left the arena. This often happens when people are told they aren't needed for a show.

The Limitless One was, however, booked for Rampage (which tapes after Dynamite). This fact wasn't relayed to him and resulted in the card being reshuffled.

The report added that there are no issues between Lee and AEW over the situation, with those close to it claiming that it had been blown out of proportion on social media.

The 38-year-old was present and wrestled at last night's television tapings (in a match recorded for this Saturday's episode of Collision).

Prior to last night, Lee's last AEW outing was on the August 4 edition of Rampage (taped on August 2).
