Report: Bea Priestley Likely Signing With WWE NXT UK

Bea Priestley is likely WWE bound and is "almost surely headed to NXT UK", according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Priestley finished up in Japan following Stardom's Yokohama Dream Cinderella event in April, a show in which she lost to World Of Stardom Champion Utami Hayashishita. This came shortly after real-life boyfriend Will Ospreay attacked and expelled her from The United Empire following his New Japan Cup 2021 victory. 

Following her Stardom departure, reports noted Priestley would not be heading back to AEW and many suspected she would, therefore, be joining WWE. 

NXT UK previously tried to sign Priestley back in 2019, but she opted to join AEW on a part-time deal instead because she wanted to work for Stardom as much as possible.

She told talkSPORT in November 2019: "So I contacted Cody and said 'they've made me an offer but I'm not really sure what I want to do' and then from there, Cody and Brandi offered me a part-time deal and for me, I still wanted to have a big part in Stardom, so the AEW deal worked out a lot better for me than the NXT UK deal. Because I wouldn't be able to commit as much as I have to Japan if I was in NXT UK."
