Report: Bully Ray Finished With Ring Of Honor

What's next for the WWE Hall of Famer?

Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that former WWE, ECW, and Impact Wrestling star Bully Ray is no longer with Ring of Honor. His contract with the promotion had expired on April 1.

The two sides had planned for Bully's exit to take place after Supercard of Honor during WrestleMania weekend (which was to be held days following the contract's expiration) in order to finish his storyline with Maria Manic. However, that show, among many others, was cancelled due to the pandemic.

The report claims that there's no heat between ROH and Bully Ray (who turns 49 on July 14). There was just, "...a realization that he had done all he could do there currently."

Ray had signed with the promotion in early 2017. His most recent match took place on February 29, when he defeated Caprice Coleman at Gateway to Honor in St. Louis. Feuds during his final year or so with the promotion saw him battle the likes of Flip Gordon and Mark Haskins.

As a result, Bully Ray is 100 percent a free agent, and can sign anywhere immediately.
