Report: Hope Within WWE That Sasha Banks & Naomi Will Return

Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out on WWE in May

Vince McMahon’s retirement has shaken up the pro wrestling world, with many changes expected to come to WWE.

Such a monumental change of power in the company could entice former stars to come back, especially due to the positions of power now handled by Stephanie McMahon and Paul’Triple H’ Levesque, and a report from PWTorchVIP’s Wade Keller suggests there’s hope Sasha Banks and Naomi will return.

Stephanie in particular is reported to be key to this optimistic thinking, with Steph reportedly well respected by the WWE women’s divisions, with a hope that with Stephanie having more power, then the women will have more TV time, and be given better presentation and creative.

When Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of WWE and dropped the Women’s Tag Team Titles as a result the prevailing belief was that the pair had issues with Vince McMahon. Now with Vince out of the picture, the chances of the pair returning seem better than they have in recent weeks, according to the report. That’s not to say that Sasha and Naomi’s walkout may have ruffled Stephanie and Triple H’s feathers amongst others, but a changing of the guard surely lends itself to a clean slate.
