Report: Jeff Hardy Expected To Make AEW Return Soon

More on a potential return for Jeff Hardy

Jeff Hardy is expected to make his AEW return soon following a stint in rehab, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter

Meltzer wrote: "Jeff Hardy is expected to be out of rehab soon and back in the ring."

Hardy has been away from AEW since mid-June when he was arrested on charges of DUI, driving with a revoked or suspended licence, and violating restrictions placed on his license. The former WWE Champion was suspended without pay by All Elite Wrestling following his arrest and he can only return to AEW after he completes treatment for substance abuse issues and maintains his sobriety.

Matt Hardy, speaking on his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, also provided an update on his brother's future in professional wrestling.

"[Teaming with Wardlow] sounds great. I'm pretty excited. We're getting close to the point where we meet the new Jeff and we figure out his future and what he ends up doing. I'm pretty excited because I feel like his mentality is like - he knows he has to make some changes and do what's right. I feel like he's at a point where he will this time around. I'm excited to have him back and I think this would be amazing. It'd be so much fun," Matt said.
