Report: Mustafa Ali Segment Pulled From WWE Raw

No Mustafa Ali on WWE Raw

Mustafa Ali and WWE United States Champion Theory were originally scheduled to be featured on Monday's episode of Raw on May 23 but their appearances ended up being scrapped.

According to Fightful Select, Mustafa Ali and Theory were booked to be in a segment together on Raw but it was pulled from the show before the episode went on the air due to time constraints. WWE ultimately had no other plans for Ali on the show so he just didn't appear. Theory, meanwhile, was considered for a beatdown of Cody Rhodes but that pitch went nowhere.

The United States Champion even mentioned in an interview before Raw that Ali was scheduled to have a match on the show. Who the former SmackDown Hacker's opponent would have been is unknown, though.

While they may not have been on this week's show, WWE do plan to continue the Ali-Theory feud in the coming weeks.

The programme between the United States Champion and Ali began in late April after the 36-year-old returned to WWE TV following a six-month hiatus.
