Report: Omos Scheduled For WWE WrestleMania Match, Planned Opponent Revealed

Omos will be in action at WWE WrestleMania

Omos hasn't competed in a big professional wrestling match since an early January win over AJ Styles but that is set to change at WrestleMania 38.

WrestleVotes reported that Omos is set to perform in a singles match at The Showcase Of The Immortals, tweeting: "Source states, as of now, Omos is indeed getting a singles WrestleMania match. And his opponent may surprise some people...It's not Veer. Or Cody for that matter."

Fightful Select then noted that as of last weekend, Omos' planned opponent was Bobby Lashley.

The two-time WWE Champion is currently out of action, having suffered a shoulder injury during his win over Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble. He was then written off TV at Elimination Chamber after Seth Rollins Powerbombed Austin Theory through Lashley's pod, with Brock Lesnar leaving Saudi Arabia with the WWE Championship.

Lashley was expected to be on the shelf for four months and there is currently no word on if The All Mighty has been cleared for in-ring action.
