Report: Only 'A Select Few' Were Unhappy With Dax Harwood's Podcast

Was the reaction to the podcast overblown?

The debut edition of Dax Harwood's 'FTR with Dax Harwood' podcast had the wrestling world talking, as the AEW star discussed all things CM Punk.

This included the tag team specialist's relationship with the Straight-Edge Superstar, his reputation in the AEW locker room and the now-infamous events that followed the comments Punk made at the post-All Out 2022 media scrum.

After the podcast was released, both Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that various people within the company were unhappy with what Harwood said on his podcast.

However, DAZN's Steven Muehlhausen has subsequently indicated that the reaction may have been overblown by tweeting

"Sources: While some weren't happy with the comments made by Dax Harwood on his podcast, it isn't as bad as it's being made out to be. Also told it's a 'select few who weren't happy' with the podcast".

FTR's AEW future is currently uncertain. In November it was reported that they were contemplating their pro-wrestling options, with their AEW contracts set to expire in April.

In recent weeks they have dropped the Ring of Honor, AAA and New Japan Pro-Wrestling tag team titles, increasing speculation that they may return to WWE.
