Report: Some In AEW Unhappy About Dax Harwood's CM Punk Podcast

Unhappiness with Dax Harwood in AEW

Dax Harwood's podcast on CM Punk has reportedly not gone down well in All Elite Wrestling.

The inaugural edition of Harwood's FTR podcast focused on Punk and Dax issued a plea during the episode for the two-time AEW World Champion and The Elite to settle their differences for the good of professional wrestling. Harwood also discussed his friendship with Punk, noting the positives that The Second City Saviour had brought to AEW while also mentioning his negative first impression of Colt Cabana.

Punk issued a short response to the plea, writing "Duh" on Instagram.

Speaking about the podcast on Wrestling Observer Radio, both Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez reported there were people in AEW unhappy with Harwood's comments.

"From what I heard from different people, not the people who you probably heard from, they were not particularly happy at all about this," Meltzer said.

Alvarez added: "All I heard the other day was how unhappy people were about that podcast."

Punk is currently away from AEW due to a backstage fight with The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega following Punk's infamous post-All Out media scrum. As of last word, Punk was in talks over a contract buyout and several of the promotion's top stars, including Chris Jericho, have reportedly vowed to ensure the 44-year-old won't be brought back to AEW
