Report: 'Scary Situation' At Latest IMPACT Wrestling TV Tapings

A "scary situation" happened in IMPACT Wrestling

A "scary situation" occurred at IMPACT Wrestling's first set of post-No Surrender TV tapings on Saturday, February 25, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer

Yuya Uemura was in action against Sami Callihan at the tapings in Las Vegas, Nevada but the Japanese talent needed medical attention after landing on his head following a Powerbomb from Callihan. Meltzer noted that Uemura was down for what seemed like five minutes before he was eventually able to get up and appeared to be okay. Uemura received medical attention in the ring from EMTs and he was joined in the squared circle by Scott D'Amore, KUSHIDA, Rhino, and Tommy Dreamer.

Uemura has been a regular in IMPACT since August of 2022 and he has primarily competed in the X Division. He has been involved in a programme with The Design in 2023, clashing with the stable in tag team matches. Callihan is currently a member of The Design but he looks set to split from the faction in the coming months.
