Report: Scorpio Sky Backstage At IMPACT No Surrender

AEW Wrestler Scorpio Sky Was Backstage At The IMPACT No Surrender Event

Former TNT Champion and AEW star, Scorpio Sky, was backstage at IMPACT Wrestling’s No Surrender show last night, per Fightful Select. He was one of a few special guests and non-IMPACT names at the event, including Ring Of Honor wrestler Sledge, and Rancid frontman Lars Frederiksen.

Although Sky hasn’t been seen on AEW television for a good seven months, not wrestling a match since he lost the TNT Championship to Wardlow on the July 6 episode of Dynamite in 2022, this visit to IMPACT Wrestling appears to be nothing more than a personal one to support a friend.

Sky’s former SCU teammate and AEW alumni, Frankie Kazarian, was wrestling at the No Surrender show against Kon, coming out of the event with a victory, and Sky was reportedly only there to support his long-time pal. Kazarian asked for his AEW release in the latter part of 2022, signing instead with IMPACT Wrestling, though there are no signs that Sky’s appearance backstage was any hint at him doing the same.
