Report: Snoop Dogg Doesn't Have Heat With WWE

He recently appeared on AEW: Dynamite

Ahead of the first episode of the Go Big Show, Snoop Dogg appeared on AEW: Dynamite and accompanied fellow judge Cody Rhodes to the ring for his match with Matt Sydal. The Original Gangsta didn't just stand at ringside, though, and ended up hitting a Splash on Serpentico following a post-match ambush from Chaos Project.

Snoop's appearance on Dynamite had been advertised for a few weeks and Bryan Alvarez previously reported that WWE was "very upset" about him being on the show.

In a new report from Fightful Select, they noted there is "absolutely no heat on Snoop Dogg in WWE." Most in the company expected him to promote the Go Big Show with AEW since Cody Rhodes is one of the judges and Snoop is a fan of pro wrestling. A source within WWE also noted there was no reason for him to have any heat with the company since he isn't under contract.

Snoop Dogg has worked with WWE in the past and was inducted into the company's hall of fame in 2016.
