Report: Some WWE Coaches Were "Frustrated" That Trainees Were Being Paid In Full During The Coronavirus Pandemic

In last week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported WWE developmental talents will resume training on August 10 at a warehouse near the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. A few rings have been set up in the new location and only two people will be allowed inside the squared circle at any one time. All NXT Superstars must attend classes at the warehouse and everyone at the facility will be tested for COVID-19 once a week. Everyone not in the ring must also wear a face mask.  

Classes had shut down after production of Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown was moved to the Performance Center back in March. 

While the developmental talents were unable to train, WWE continued to pay them in full. This seemingly upset some people at the Performance Center as Fightful Select noted some coaches were "frustrated" that talent were receiving their full wages during the pandemic. Some coaches were especially annoyed as a number of trainees had opted out of being in the audience at TV tapings.
