Report: Tony Nese & Kiera Hogan Backstage At AEW Dynamite

Are they AEW bound?

A former WWE star and IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Tag Team Champion were backstage at the Homecoming edition of AEW Dynamite, according to a new report.

All Elite Wrestling returned to Daily's Place for the first time since going back on the road and Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net noted Tony Nese and Kiera Hogan were both backstage at the show. There is no word on why they were backstage or if AEW are interested in adding them to the roster.

Nese spent the last five years in WWE but he was released by the company on June 25. The former Cruiserweight Champion has said in the past that he has a lot of friends in AEW, including Dark Order's John Silver and Alex Reynolds. Nese also revealed he would like to work with Kenny Omega and Matt Sydal.

Kiera Hogan was previously with IMPACT Wrestling but she departed the company after their July tapings. She joined the promotion in 2017 but decided to see "what else is out there" for her.
