Report: Update On Becky Lynch's WWE Plans After WrestleMania 36
The Man looks set to disappear for a little while...
As of writing, Becky Lynch has held the Raw Women's Championship for 311 days, making her the longest-reigning Women's Champion since Trish Stratus. While WWE is yet to announce the match, The Man is set to hold the title until WrestleMania 36 and go one on one with former NXT Champion Shayna Baszler.
Lynch will seemingly lose to Baszler at The Showcase Of The Immortals as Tom Colohue at Sportskeeda has reported that she is set to take some time off with fiance Seth Rollins after the show. Colohue does not know how long The Irish Lass Kicker will be gone for, but he does speculate that she could tie the knot with Rollins during their time away from the company.
On the Dropkick DiSKussions podcast, Colohue said: "And yeah, there are rumours now that both her and Seth may take some time away after WrestleMania to recharge. Maybe go and get married, and to let the fans breathe a little bit because absence does make the heart grow fonder. So we’ll see if that happens. That is only what I hear though it's nothing concrete at the moment, I want to make that very clear. But it is what I'm starting to hear so it would make sense for Becky to lose the title at WrestleMania."
