Report: Update On Britt Baker And Rey Fenix After AEW: Dynamite, Matt Jackson Also Injured

At least one match at Double Or Nothing is in jeopardy...

Last night's episode of Dynamite didn't exactly go to plan for All Elite Wrestling. With Double Or Nothing only days away, Rey Fenix and Britt Baker both seemingly picked up injuries during the broadcast.

The Role Model tagged out of her match against Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida after Nyla Rose landed on her leg. She didn't re-enter the bout and could be seen conversing with the ringside doctor. Rey Fenix also tried to hit his Casino Ladder match opponents with a Springboard Senton but he undershot the move and crashed onto the floor.

Bryan Alvarez provided an update on the injuries on Wrestling Observer Radio. He reported that Fenix is a little banged up but he should be fine to compete in the Casino Ladder match. The news is less good for Britt Baker, however, as AEW doctors think she suffered a serious knee injury.

Alvarez said: "The word I heard was he was banged up, but they think he's going to be good for Saturday, and its Fenix, so he probably will be."

He later added: "They think its probably bad but she has to be checked out tomorrow (May 21). But this could be a pretty serious knee injury."

Another AEW Star also left Daily's Place with an injury as Alvarez revealed Matt Jackson suffered a suspected broken rib after he and Nick Jackson dived from the stands onto Santana and Ortiz.

"Matt injured his rib," Alvarez said. "They've got to check that one out tomorrow (May 21). Doctor thinks it's broken but it could be cartilage, it could be bruised."
