Report: Update On WWE Plans For Becky Lynch Vs. Trish Stratus Feud

Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus doesn't look set to end at WWE Night of Champions

Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch are set to face off in singles action for the first time ever later this month at the Night of Champions pay-per-view on Saturday, May 27 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The match was set for the show on this week's edition of Monday Night Raw, with a contract signing scheduled to take place on May 22 to finalise Lynch vs. Stratus.

The feud between the two competitors looks set to continue past Night of Champions, with Fightful Select reporting that early plans called for the programme involving Lynch and Stratus to run past the May 27 pay-per-view. Reports back in March did indicate that Lynch and Stratus would be feuding through SummerSlam so the rivalry may well turn into a trilogy with matches at Night of Champions, Money in the Bank, and SummerSlam.

The latest edition of SummerSlam will take place on Saturday, August 5 at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan.

Trish Stratus initially returned to WWE as a babyface earlier this year but she turned on Becky Lynch on April 10 after they dropped the Women's Tag Team Titles to Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Lynch was initially off TV but she returned last week.
