Report: WWE's Plans For Trish Stratus Revealed

Trish Stratus' latest return to WWE seemingly won't be a one-and-done affair. 

Stratus made her return to WWE TV on the February 27 edition of Monday Night Raw as she helped longtime rival/friend Lita and Becky Lynch capture the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships from Damage CTRL's Dakota Kai and IYO SKY. Stratus then appeared on Raw again this week as it was announced that the WWE Hall of Famer will team with Lynch and Lita against Bayley, IYO SKY, and Dakota Kai at WrestleMania 39. 

While Stratus is a babyface for now, that seemingly isn't the long-term plan. According to WRKD Wrestling, Stratus is currently scheduled for a heel turn that will kick off a feud with Becky Lynch through SummerSlam.

WRKD Wrestling tweeted: "The long term plan, as of this moment, is that Trish Stratus will turn heel and work a program with Becky Lynch through SummerSlam."

Stratus did play a heel on WWE TV while she was a full-time talent in the 2000s. She has been utilised as a babyface since returning to the squared circle in 2018, with her most recent match taking place at 2019's SummerSlam in a loss to Charlotte Flair.
