Report: WWE Brings Back Vince McMahon Allies

Vince McMahon surrounded by allies in WWE

Vince McMahon is bringing back his allies to WWE.

Following an initial report from Ringside News, Dave Meltzer noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Executive Vice President of Operations and Chief of Staff Brad Blum was brought back to WWE after either taking a leave of absence or being fired by the organisation around a month and a half ago.

Blum was known to be a strong McMahon ally and Meltzer claimed other people close to the 77-year-old have been brought back to WWE.

This comes after Vince McMahon returned to WWE this month, first electing himself and former co-presidents George Barrios and Michelle Wilson to the Board of Directors before Vince was elected Executive Chairman a few days later by a restructured board. McMahon is back to pursue a sale of WWE but he has also since returned to work at Titan Towers and he has been suggesting creative ideas to Chief Content Officer Triple H.

The likes of Disney, Comcast, the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund, Endeavor, and Netflix are said to be interested parties in buying WWE.
